Hotel Reservations

We have been given an exceptional group rate at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island for BizConf attendees. Book your room early, as the BizConf room blocks will sell out.

• $169.00 per night for single or double occupancy in the Coastal View Rooms (normally $229.00 / night)
• $249.00 per night for single or double occupancy in the Ocean Front Suites (normally $429.00 / night)
• $15.00 per night per additional person ($50.00 for Club Level Room)

Room rates are subject to any local, state, and federal tax that may apply at time of occupancy. (For informational purposes only, currently the room tax rate is 10% in effect at the time of check-in.)

Also, for those attendees choosing to make a vacation out of the conference, these rates are good for 3 days before and after BizConf.

Reservations received after July 15, 2010 (or after the room block sells out, whichever comes first) will be honored on a space-available basis at the prevailing rate of the hotel. All reservations will require a one (1) night advance deposit per room, plus tax, to guarantee accommodations. All advance reservation deposits are completely refundable if canceled seven (7) days prior to arrival.

Getting To Jacksonville Florida

Located just minutes from downtown, Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) provides non-stop flights to major U.S. cities, including those that serve as international gateways. More than a dozen major airlines and a network of regional carriers provide some 200 daily arrivals and departures at JAX Airport.

Getting to Amelia Island from the Airport*

There are a number of ways to get from the airport to the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island:

• Cabs are available 24/7 outside of baggage claim. The average cost is $60.00 per trip/leg.
• East Coast Transportation (904-525-8600) provides a limosine sedan for 1-3 people for $80.00 each way or an SUV for 4-5 people for $100, or a van fitting 6-8 riders for $125. Please let them know if you are interested in sharing transportation with other BizConf attendees and they will do their best to accommodate.
• Rental cars (Avis, Thrifty, Hertz, Enterprise, etc.) are available at the airport

Parking

If you rent a car, please be aware that the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island has mandatory valet parking at a rate of $17.00 per day/ night.
